Epcot

Epcot

Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal Kingdom
With 500 acres of grassy grazing areas and lush landscaping, Disney's Animal Kingdom, is the largest animal-themed park in the world.  It is home to more than 1700 animals from all around the world. Guests can get up close and personal with animal encounters, such as Affection Section petting area.  African animals range across the sprawling savanna and rugged hills of Harambe Wlidlife Preserve. They can be seen from the Kilimanjaro Safaris ride.  Asian animals can be viewed along the Maharajah Jungle Trek.  Conservation Station highlights conservation efforts and provides an opportunity to peek behind the scenes at the Animal Kingdom's veterinary facilities.  DinoLand USA focuses on animals which have become extinct.  Dinosaur offers a thrill ride through time and the Boneyard offers a spot for active youngsters to climb.  The main theatre at Camp Mickey-Minnie, features the vibrant Festival of the Lion King show with energetic acrobatics and high-spirited music.  This park closes earlier than the other theme parks because it is necessary to keep the animals on an established, healthy schedule.  The Animal Kingdom directs attention to the conservation of nature and the care and protection of animals through entertainment and exhibits.

Water Parks

Disney Water Parks
Splash, surf, and snorkel are on the “to-do list” of many Florida visitors.  They can do it all right at one of the extraordinary Disney water parks!

Blizzard Beach boggles the mind with its unconventional ski resort theme.  Toboggan riders race down synthetic snowy slopes.  Summit Plummet boasts of being the world's tallest and fastest freefall waterslide.  Raft rides and the 1-acre surf pool are filled with thrills.  The snow castle fountain play area is perfect for the energetic younger set.

Typhoon Lagoon has family-friendly attractions drenched in a tropical tone.  Nurse sharks and schools of brilliant fish swim with the snorkelers at the Shark Reef.  Castaway Creek offers a calm tube ride through misty waterfalls and lush rainforests.  Sandy beaches surround the tidal pools at Blustery Bay and Whitecap Cove.  Guests can take playful plunges on nine waterslides. 

Lifeguards at both of Disney's water parks receive thorough training.  Safety is a high priority and guests are expected to observe rules for safety and courtesy.  Rental lockers are available to store personal items.  Towels and life vests are also available.  Shops have a selection of swimwear and sandals, sundries and souvenirs.  Refreshments and meals are available at quick service restaurants and pool bars or guests may bring in a picnic cooler with their family's favorites.

Downtown Disney

Downtown Disney
Downtown Disney is on the edge of Buena Vista Lagoon with more than 70 shops, restaurants and entertainment options.  It is the home of the colorful and compelling Cirque du Soleil La Nouba show.  DisneyQuest provides interactive 3-D encounters and innovative gaming experiences.  Quick service and quality restaurants provide a wide array of dining choices.  The 24-screen movie theater offers plenty of choices to suit anyone.  The world's largest Disney Store and numerous retail shops make gift shopping easy.  Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is the spot for getting a glamorous princess makeover.  Free parking is plentiful.


Boardwalk

Boardwalk
Hugging the shore of Crescent Lake, Disney's BoardWalk is a scenic village of shops and restaurants and nightclubs.  Awnings and archways are reminiscent of early 20th century beachside cities.  It is a great place to browse and buy with an excellent selection of art and apparel, sundries and sweets.  Funnel cakes and hot dogs are a beach boardwalk tradition.  Upscale dining, a brewpub, and bakery round out the selection of great meal choices.  Nightlife includes street performers and midway games. Live entertainment also covers a wide spectrum with a dance hall, piano bar and sports club. There is no admission to the BoardWalk area, but some venues have a cover charge.  Free parking is available nearby.
